Whetu Marama grew up in the moana and was blessed to be brought up around her whānau, hapū, her iwi and is now living on her whānau papakāinga in Hairini. 


Whetu Marama is the Project manager for Te Ara Poutama Living Well with Heart Disease and has always been passionate about a holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle.

She has had over 16 years of experience in teaching in Tauranga and overseas. 


Whetu Marama has taught in kura Māori alongside the Trades Academy and has loved encouraging our rangatahi to try and experience and explore new things.


Her love for travel, Raranga, health, well-being and nature creates the style of how she enjoys life with an open mind to trying new things.
