Maraea heads our research operations team, particularly projects that use a kaupapa Māori methodological approach.
 

Maraea grew up in the Bay of Plenty, moving away for a couple of stints for study and work before returning home in the late 2000s.

Maraea brings a diverse skillset and well-rounded perspective to our team.

She completed her Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and Human Resources before embarking on a fulfilling career covering events, tourism and banking, as well as earning qualifications in business and tourism along the way. Her unique expertise gives Maraea an indispensable approach to all of our projects, ensuring the best outcomes for both scientific developments and community success.
